In Colour printing, the CMYK is a colour model that refers to the four ink plates used – Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Key (black colour). It was first incorporated in 1906 by the Eagle Printing Ink Company and found that these four can be used in combination to produce a large number of richer, darker tones.
