Pedralbes is a neighbourhood in Barcelona. The streets of Pedralbes made up a racing circuit that first opened in 1946. It hosted the Spanish Grand Prix twice in the 1950s and after the disastrous Le Mans incident of 1955, the new safety rules deemed Pedralbes unfit to host Formula One races.
