A movie helping a country’s cause for a movement! Una Mujer fantástica, a 2017 movie, about LBGTQ became the first Chilean movie to win the Oscar for Best Foreign Language film. The movie inspired the Chilean LBGTQ activists to accelerate the process to get the gender equality bill in Chile, which ultimately the government approved a year later.
