Werner Heisenberg introduced his famous uncertainty principle in the 1920s. Inspired by that concept, Frank Herbert, a science fiction writer wrote a serialised novel in 1966 titled, The Eyes of Heisenberg – a reference to uncertainty at societal level and genetic level.
