The Arabic film Capernaum (Kafarnahum) is a 2018 movie set in Lebanon about a 12-year old Syrian refugee. Nadine Labaki, a Lebanese actress, directed the movie and thus became the first female director from the Arab world, whose film was nominated for Best Foreign Language Film.
