What’s Love Got to Do With It is a 1993 movie about the life of Tina Turner. The movie was adapted from the Tina Turner and Kurt Loder book, I, Tina. The title of the movie was inspired by Tina Turner’s 1984 song from her fifth solo album, Private Dancer. It won the Grammy’s Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance.
