There are eleven administrative divisions in Barbados and ten of those names are named after saints, one other being Christ Church. St. Andrew, St. George, St. James, St. John, St. Joseph, St. Lucy, St. Michael, St. Peter, St. Philip and St. Thomas are ten parishes named after the saints.
