Stephen Sondheim, an American composer known for penning the lyrics of the songs that have won him Academy Awards, Grammy, Tony Awards among others. His song ‘Send In the Clowns’ appeared in Ingmar Bergman’s movie Smiles of a Summer Night. Judy Collins’ 1975 version of the song won the Grammy Award for Song of the Year.
