FACT FOOD – MDCIV

Charles Laughton won the 1933 Academy Award for Best Actor for his performance as the weird king ‘Henry VIII’. The movie, a British production was the first to be nominated for Academy Award for Best Picture. The movie explores the private life of Henry VIII and his six marriages. One of the wives, Anne of Cleves, was played by his real-life wife Elsa Lanchester.
