Alberto Ascari’s dominant season with Ferrari in 1952 was such that he won the driver’s championships in the sixth race of eight races. By winning his fourth consecutive race in the German Grand Prix, he had the tally of 36 points and since the four best scores were considered for the championships, Ascari won his first driver’s championships in Formula One.
