Johnny Rep is an ex-Dutch footballer who excelled on the field as a striker. He was instrumental for Netherlands’ great showing in 1974 and 1978 World Cups, and till date remains the highest goal scorer for the Netherlands at the FIFA World Cup. He was also part of the Ajax team (1972 and 1973) that won European Cup titles in the 70s and his fourth-minute goal in the 1973 European Cup finals against Juventus gave Ajax their third consecutive title.
