Grant Morrison wrote a comic book series with illustrations provided by Chris Weston and Gary Erskine, and it was titled ‘The Filth’. The two characters Man Green and Man Yellow, the chief constables of the Science Gestapo are inspired by the visual artist duo of Gilbert & George. They have been exhibiting their artworks since the 1970s and were the recipients of the second Turner Prize.
