Ursula Parrott was the pen name used by the American writer Katherine Ursula Towle, known for her romantic fiction novels and stories. Her first novel, Ex-Wife was published in 1929 and the very next year it was adapted into a movie titled, The Divorcee. The movie was nominated for the Best Picture Oscar and Norma Shearer, who played the role of Jerry, won the Best Actress Oscar.
