Quo Vadis (Where are you going, Lord?) is an internationally well renowned historical novel set in the Rome under Nero’s rule. It was written by the Polish writer Henryk Sienkiewicz. It has been translated into several languages and several movies have been made based on the novel. This novel was instrumental in Henryk winning the 1905 Nobel Prize in Literature. His other well-known work is the ‘Trilogy’ set in the 17th century Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.
