In the fourth season of the European Cup (now Champion’s League), Young Boys Bern had an impressive showing. They went to the second leg of their semifinal match against Reims leading 1-0. However, in the away match, they lost 0-3 and thereby losing out on an opportunity to play Real Madrid in the finals. Till date, this remains Young Boys’ best outing in the European Cup/Champion’s League.
