Miguel Munoz was a Spanish football player who played for Real Madrid for the latter part of his career from 1948 to 1958 and that saw him win European Cup titles as a captain for two consecutive years (1956 and 1957). After retirement, he took up the post of managing Real Madrid and became the first person to win the European Cup (now Champions League) as a player and as a manager.
