Robert Prosinečki made his debut at the World Cup in 1990. He also played the 1998 and 2002 editions. He created a record when he scored a goal against Jamaica in the 1998 World Cup by becoming the first player to score for two different teams in the World Cup. He had previously scored against UAE for Yugoslavia in 1990.
