From the 1930 World Cup until the 2018 World Cup, only one player managed to score a hatrick in two different World Cups. The honour goes to the Argentine footballer, Gabriel Batistuta. Incidentally, both these hatricks came on the 21st of June at the 1994 and 1998 World Cups respectively and in both cases the hatrick goal was a penalty.
