By 1977, Julie Newmar was an entrepreneur and was awarded three U.S patents for her inventions in women’s lingerie specifically for two types of pantyhose and a Brassiere. A decade earlier, Julie Newmar was cast as Catwoman in the popular TV series ‘Batman’ for the first two seasons. Eartha Kitt took over the reins from Newmar from the third season.
