At the 1932 Winter Olympics, Bill Fiske led the four-man bobsleigh team to a second gold medal (in 1928 it was five members in bobsleigh). He didn’t take part in the 1936 Olympics in Germany and was one of the first Americans to enlist in the war services. He won his first gold medal at the age of 16 in St. Moritz and died at the age of 29 in 1940 while serving for British’s Royal Air Force.
