Holly Woodlawn, a transgender actress from Puerto Rico appeared in Andy Warhol movies such as Trash and Women in Revolt. Born Haroldo Santiago Franceschi Rodriguez Danhakl, she adopted the name ‘Holly’ after Audrey Hepburn’s character in the movie Breakfast at Tiffany’s. She is referred to in Lou Reed’s song ‘Walk on the Wild Side’.
