Set in the 1980s, the Goldbergs is a sitcom that is loosely based on the Adam F. Goldberg’s own childhood. He serves as one of the show’s executive producers. The show re-enacts the time in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania through the eyes of a young boy and some of those events are videotaped, with original footage shown at the end of each show.
