The Mask of Virtue is a 1935 play produced and directed by Maxwell Wrey. On Wrey’s suggestion, Vivien Leigh changed the ‘a’ to ‘e’ in her first name. She was born Vivian Mary Hartley in 1913 to an English broker and his wife in Darjeeling, India.
