While contracted with Keystone Studios, Charlie Chaplin never received any credit for the comedies he made between the years of 1914 and 1915. As a studio policy, Keystone film didn’t credit its actors. Later in 1915, when he moved over to Essanay Studios, Charlie Chaplin’s first credited role happens to be ‘His New Job’. Keystone credits of Chaplin were added in reissue prints.
