Johnny Cecotto finished in sixth place in only his second race of his F1 career in 1983. He raced Theodore Racing team and due to lack of funding, he had to look for another team the following season. In 1984, he joined the Toleman team Ayrton Senna was his teammate. Unfortunately, he broke both his legs owing to a heavy crash at Silverstone and thereby ended his F1 career.
