FACT FOOD #1066

When one talks about 1066, one of the immediate thoughts that come to the mind is the Norman conquest of England. In that year, Duke William II of Normandy (France) won battles in different parts of England and was crowned as the king of England later that year. The name ‘William the Conqueror’ is attributed to Duke William II for what he did in the year 1066 A.D.
