Eric S. Hatch was staffed as a writer for the New Yorker magazine and along with the magazine duties, he found success for his novel writing and screenwriting. His book ‘1101 Park Avenue’ was made into the 1936 screwball comedy, My Man Godfrey and that earned Hatch an Oscar under the category of Best Writing, Screenplay.
