Working for National Comics, Bob Kane created an adventure strip titled ‘Rusty and Pals’ which drew attention. However, with the success of Superman, DC comics had to come up with a superhero to stay in the market. That’s how with some inputs from writer Bill Finger, Batman came to the fore.
