OPEC (Organisation of the Petrol Exporting Countries), an intergovernmental organisation was founded in Baghdad in 1960 by Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Venezuela and is headquartered in Vienna since 1965. The organisation that concerns with petrol export affairs currently consists of 14 nations.
