Barbara Hutton, a socialite and the heiress to Woolworth’s fortune was married seven times in her lifetime. In 1942, her third marriage to Cary Grant earned the nickname ‘Cash & Cary’ by the press. Her next marriage to the Russian prince, Igor Troubetzkoy (who was the driver of the first Ferrari that took part in Grand Prix motor racing) was short lived in which she attempted to commit suicide and the press labelled her as the ‘Poor Little Rich Girl’, a name that stands to this day.
