Betsy Nagelsen, a former professional tennis player had a decent career in Grand Slam tennis. Apart from being the runner-up at the 1978 Australian Open, she won two doubles titles at the Australian Open partnering Renáta Tomanová and Martina Navratilova. In 1986, she married Mark McCormack, founder of IMG and became his second wife. Together, they donated money for improving the women’s tennis infrastructure and opened the McCormack-Nagelsen Tennis centre in Virginia.
