In the annals of British tennis history, Arthur Wallis Myers played an important role. Although he is more famous for his journalistic abilities (with several books on tennis to his name), Arthur was instrumental in the founding of International Lawn Tennis Club of Great Britain. Not just that, he did play tennis on the amateur tour though with less success.
