The Australian Grand Prix, the motor racing competition first took place in Philip Island, Victoria in 1928. In Formula One, the Australian Grand Prix started from 1985 in the streets of Adelaide. The race at Adelaide ran till 1995 and since 1996, Melbourne’s Albert Park has been hosting the F1 races.
