The 1956 movie Love Me Tender was originally titled ‘The Reno Brothers’ as the story was about the Reno Brothers Gang who operated in the MidWestern part of the United States post civil war. The movie’s name was changed to ‘Love Me Tender’ before the release owing to the popularity of the Elvis song of the same name. Coincidentally, this was Elvis Presley’s debut movie.
