The Augustine church was built during the medieval times in Zurich. Following on the Augustinian Order (Catholic religious order), it was built in 1270 at the Münzplatz and once the reformation took over Zürich, the church was abolished in the 16th century before it was rebuilt in the 1950s. A pedestrian lane in the old town Zurich is named after the church known as ‘Augustinergasse’.
