Laughter is an essential component for humans. It is a field of science if we dig deeper. The study was popularised by William F. Fry, a pyschology professor at the Stanford University and the branch came to be known as Gelotology. The term gets its name from the Greek word for laughter/to laugh ‘gelos’. So, don’t be an agelast now and have a laugh!
