As it stands, there have been 15 occasions when actors and actresses from a single movie have received nominations for all the four Academy Award acting nominations. Out of them, only two movies have won three awards out of four. For the 1951 movie, A Streetcar Named Desire, Vivien Leigh, Karl Malden and Kim Hunter won the Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor and Best Supporting Actress award respectively while Marlon Brando lost out. The 1976 movie Network had Peter Finch (Best Actor), Faye Dunaway (Best Actress) and Beatrice Straight (Best Supporting Actress) while Ned Beatty lost out.
