Adam West, the Australian actor came into prominence when he was cast as Bruce Wayne and his most recognised alter ego, Batman, in the television series Batman. Partially, his selection was based on an ad-film where West played the role of Captain Q for Nestlé Quik. The show ran on ABC from 1966 to 1968 and also included a film version in 1966.
