Lois Lane, the Superman’s love interest and his alter ego Clark Kent’s colleague at The Daily Planet appeared in the very first issue of Superman. Joe Shuster and Jerry Siegel, the creators of the iconic character modelled Lois Lane after the American model Jolan Kovacs, and later changed her name to Joanne Siegel.
