In Canada, there is an archaeological site called L’Anse aux Meadows that was discovered in 1960. It is located on the northermost tip of Newfoundland, the place is known for being the only Viking settlement (till date) in North America. The name L’Anse aux Meadows translates to ‘Jellyfish Cove’ in French.
