Sir Ben Kingsley started his stage career in 1966 as a narrator of “A Smashing Day” produced by Brian Epstein, the Beatles manager. Apart from narration, he also sang and played guitar. John Lennon and Ringo Starr suggested him to join music and he was also offered a deal by the Beatles’ publishers. Instead, he chose to remain an actor and the rest is history.
