Pong, one of the earliest known aracde video games was based on the sport of table tennis. Many video game experts refer Pong to be the first sports aracde video game. The game was released in 1972 by Atari by Allan Alcorn. It made its debut at Andy Capp’s bar in Sunnyvale, Calfornia with just one instruction ‘Avoid missing ball for high score’.
