Sidney Abrahams, nicknamed Solly was the former Chief Justice of Ceylon and a British Olympic athlete. His only representation at the Olympics was in 1912 when he finished in 11th place in the long jump event. Tweleve years later in 1924, his younger brother Harold Abrahams became a star when he won the 100 metres sprint and a silver in the 4×100 m relay.
