The British actors Basil Radford and Naunton Wayne appeared in four movies together as Charters and Caldicott. The duo were created by Frank Launder and Sidney Gilliat as the supporting characters for the Alfred Hitchcock’s The Lady Vanishes (1938). Thereafter, they appeared in Night Train to Munich (1940), Crook’s Tour (1941) and Millions Like Us (1943).
