On 5 October 2012 at 0.07 British Summer Time, the song Skyfall was released to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the release of the first James Bond film, Dr. No. The song sung by Adele was an instant hit. It went to win the Oscar for Best Original Song, the first James Bond song to do so.
