Sir Henry Segrave is a legendary name and a pioneer who chased speed records on land and water. After his death owing to an accident in 1930, a trophy was established in his name for a British national for outstanding demonstrations in land, sea, air or water transports. In case of non-British nationals, the Segrave Certificate of Achievement is awarded instead of the trophy.
