Vera Caslavska, one of the top gymnasts of all time represented Czechoslovakia in three Olympic editions from 1960 to 1968. She is one of the five women to win four golds in one Olympic edition. She won a total of seven gold medals, including the all-round gold medal at two consecutive Olympics, which has been matched by Soviet’s Larisa Latynina. She passed away on 30 August 2016, aged 74.
