In the episode Pulling Strings of the American TV series White Collar, Neal Caffery (Matt Bomer) and Diana Barrigan (Marsha Thomason) are investigating the Stradivarius (a type of string instrument resembling a violin), they see a girl and Neal pulls out a picture and says, “does she look like our klimpt portrait.” The picture was mostly golden colour, the portrait he was referring to was a 1907 portrait painted by Gustav Klimt of Adele Bloch Bauer, a wealthy socialite and a close friend of Klimt. The portrait is also called ‘The Woman in Gold’.
