The renowned poet T.S. Eliot composed most of his poem ‘The Wasteland’ while undergoing in a treatment in Switzerland. He even mentioned Lac Leman (Lake Geneva) in the line “by the waters of Leman I sat down and wept.” The poem talks about the loss of moral and cultural identity post World War I.
