In 2009, Brawn GP became the first Formula One constructor since Mercedes-Benz at the 1954 French Grand Prix to qualify on pole position, and then go on to win the race on their Grand Prix debut. Incidentally, Brawn GP was later bought by Mercedes and been in Formula One under the Mercedes name.
